The Washington County Public Schools Education Foundation enhances education for all students by securing resources to support innovative teaching and learning.
 
What is the WCPS Education Foundation?

• a nonprofit corporation that exists to benefit WCPS students
• led by a Board of Directors representing our community
• incorporated in the Spring of 2009, the WCPS Education Foundation responds to the local need for increased community involvement and support for public education
• benefits WCPS by supporting activities not typically funded by tax dollars
• fosters creative approaches to education through private grants and private sector donations

How can you assist the foundation?

• general cash donations
• pledged donations
• matched giving through your company or employer
• planned giving through wills, trusts, life insurance, and estate planning programs
• stocks and bonds
• support of special events
• establishment of honorary/memorial scholarships
• in-kind products and services

What does the WCPS Education fund?

• innovative classroom mini-grants for teachers
• student/teacher recognition programs
• special individual school and district-wide initiatives and projects
